Hypoglycaemia

• Check blood glucose early in any unwell or altered patient.
• Treat promptly with glucose and repeat measurements.
• Always look for the reason: insulin, sulfonylureas, sepsis, liver disease, alcohol, adrenal insufficiency, or reduced oral intake.
